FLUME PHILANTHROPY
SEE YOUR OWN HUMANITY IN OTHERS.
Flume Philanthropy exists to foster the flourishing of our fellow humans who are vulnerable, isolated, and marginalized, via securing tax exempt funding to enliven the following efforts:
Young Heroes Academy: A program for at-risk youth that makes use of “prevention through that backdoor,” which is a methodology that, rather than just telling youth what not to do, aims at flourishing the universally human and singularly unique potential of each young person and empowers them to reach it in service of others. The present levels include:
YHA 1o0 is the YHA book club, which at present focuses on the issue of human trafficking and empowers youth to avoid risky behaviors via seeing and cultivating their highest potential as modern-day abolitionist.
YHA 200, is our Action Tank program, which helps youth apply what they learned from the book and empowers them to use their gifts and leadership abilities to creating something awesome.
YHA 300 is a cross-cultural immersion experience that will bring youth from the United States to diverse nations such as Cambodia, Morocco, and Guatemala, thus helping them better understand their own humanity, the nature of the modern world and culture, and how to do the biggest possible things with their life. Dialogue Campaigns: community wide campaigns that make use of digital and print curriculum, town halls, music and the arts, and wide community collaboration, all designed to replace social polarization and tension with respectful and humane discourse in the common pursuit of dignity and truth.
Flume Philanthropy is made possible through the generous donations from our wonderful partners and like-minded foundations.
