Using Flume’s uniquely human-centered and flourishing-focused framework, Flume Philanthropy exists to foster the flourishing of the most vulnerable and marginalized humans in the world by:

  • Empowering the felt humanity of our fellow equals by cultivating a dignified and holistic view of the human person and human experience.

  • Educating our fellow equals to discern, develop, and share their unique stories and talents.

  • Equipping our fellow equals to navigate, overcome, and eliminate their local and global barriers to the free markets of trade and ideas.

  • Alleviating tenuous social issues such as racism, human trafficking and cultural disunity, and poverty by way of fostering clarity about human dignity, human flourishing, and redemption in their place.

The following efforts and services are made possible by Flume Philanthropy:

  • Donations of all Flume products and services, not limited to donated or highly subsidized books and posters, access to our Academic Studio, trainings, groups, talks, The Human Experience cross-cultural trips, and even psychotherapy though our sister company, Flourish: Center for Cultivating Human Potential.

  • Donations to help human service organizations shift from being problems-focused to be more human flourishing-focused: Serving organizations who serve the most vulnerable; educating, empowering, and equipping them with the wisdom and clarity necessary to be exceedingly more effective and efficient, work with a far more humane understanding of their work, and to help them shift from being problems-focused to personally and culturally human flourishing-focused.

  • Young Heroes Academy: At present, Young Heroes Academy offers three levels. Level one, its book club, which at present focuses on the issue of human trafficking and thus empowers youth to become modern-day abolitionist. Level two, its Action Tank program, which helps youth apply what they learned from the book and empowers them to use their gifts to creating something awesome. And finally, level three, which is a cross-cultural immersion experience, bringing youth from the United States to diverse nations such as Cambodia and Morocco, and thus helping their better understand their own humanity, the nature of the world, and how to do the biggest possible things with their life.   • Dialogue Campaigns: community wide campaigns that make use of digital and print curriculum, town halls, music and the arts, and wide community collaboration, all designed to replace social polarization and tension with respectful and humane discourse in the common pursuit of dignity and truth.

Flume Philanthropy is financially made possible through two means: First, Flume allocates 5% of all gross earnings into its Flume Philanthropy fund, which is in turn used to serve the world’s most vulnerable. Flume Philanthropy is also made possible through the generous donations from wonderful partners and like-minded foundations. All of which is made possible through the partnership of our fiscal sponsor, Player’s Philanthropy Fund, who empowers us to accept 501c3 tax exempt donations.
