The world is divided, polarized, and conflicted; this is especially the case for the West along the conceptual lines of human and cultural diversity. The root cause of this is our misunderstanding of human nature, and thus what constitutes human diversity and human society as well. For, where there is no humanity, there is nothing to unify us, and only division and strife can remain. Add in the pressures of pluralism and globalization and things grow even more volatile. And even where it does not lead to civil unrest or violence, it still prevents flourishing and redemption, which is ill-fated enough. But the good news is people see that and feel that, which is why we hear from people on all sides of today’s cultural conflicts for new way of discourse and remedy to our many social and cultural challenges—solutions that actually solve our deeper issues, not merely manage the symptoms. And that is where Flume comes in.

Flume is a knowledge-based company (or what we call, a think-tank-creative). Flume works from a unique first-principled, human centered, and humanities-rich framework to understand, articulate, and resolve social issues in clear, comprehensive, humane, and measurable ways. Rather than merely “solving” or “removing” these challenges, however, Flume further exists to help cultivate redemption and human flourishing in their place.
